  • International Family Forestry Alliance (IFFA) and The Global Alliance of Community Forestry (GACF) have common goals and values. Even if the ownership structures are different in the two organisations they have realised that they have so much in common that joint statements and side events would be of mutual benefit. Together the two organisations have a global reach since forestry ownership structure differ between different parts of the world. The side event in New York will communicate the common values of family forestry and community forestry and will take up important elements to be discussed at UNFF7. Comments and suggestions would be welcomed, and please send to the IFFA policy task force. United Nations Forum on Forest UNFF7 Session 16-27 April 2007 United Nations New York, NY
