G3 Meetings in Brazil

  • The nest planning meeting for The Three Rights Holder Group, G3, will be organised in conjunction with the IFFA Annual Meeting 2010 in Brazil in November.

    The venue for the meetings will be: Hotel Entremares, Av. Erico Verissimo, 846-Barra da Tijuca, CEP 22621 - 180  - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

    Representatives from The International Family Forestry Alliance, IFFA, The Global Alliance of Community Forestry, GACF, and The International Alliance of Tribal and Indigenous Peoples of the Tropical Forest will meet to plan further activities for the G3. Work plan 2011 and activities connected to UNFF9 and The International Year of Forest 2011 will be among the issues discussed.

    The planning meeting will be organised from 8th to 12th November 2010. The PEFC stakeholder dialogue on “Advancing certification in the Tropics” will also be arranged that week.
