17th conference of the parties (COP 17)of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and CMP 7 (7th Conference of the parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto protocol) will be held in from 28th November to the 9th December 2011 in Durban, South Africa.

This was the main message when IFFA chair Peter deMarsh addressed the United Nations Forum on forests. The 13th session of the forum was held in New York 7 to 11 May 2018.
Design mechanism to support sustainable wood
