IFFA annual meeting 2014

  • The IFFA annual meeting 2014 will be organised in Brussels 11th December 2014 at 15h30 GMT.

    The annual meeting will take place in the Forestry House in Brussels, Belgium, in conjunction with the CEPF members’ meeting the day before. The meeting will start at 16h30 local time, corresponding to 15h30 GMT. The meeting will last until 19h00 local time. 

    The Forestry House in Brussels is located at Rue de Luxembourg 66.

    IFFA more visible than ever at UNFF

    At the 12th session of the United Nations Forum on Forests (INFF 12) IFFA was very active and more visible than ever before.

    UNFF 12 Omnibus resolution

    At the end of UNFF 12 an omnibus resolution was adopted, as well as procedural resolution on the extension of the UNFF Bureau’s term-of-office for one to two years.

    -Women give full speed

    -Without women forests and society will only go on half speed, Satu-Marja Tenhiälä said when she presented the IFFA statement on food security and gender.
