Please fill in the questionnaire developed for collecting facts from Asia small holder organisations

The collection of facts on family forestry, forest farming and smallholder organisations is part of the partnership agreement IFFA has with the Forest and Farm Facility, hosted in FAO. The objective is to support and strengthen family forestry and smallholder organisations in order to promote sustainable forestry and improved livelihood.

If you have relevant information not collected already, please fill out the attached form and send it to Lok Mani Sapkota, lok.sapkota@recoftc.org, or to IFFA at post@familyforestry.net, as soon as possible.

The fact is that we lack hard facts in order to back up the advocacy for supporting smallholder organisations. There is a lot of information on forestry, but very little information specifically on family forestry and small holder organisations.

The fact gathering is part of an effort to increase cooperation and networking between small holder organisations and to help forming new organisations in areas lacking them.

As part of this plan, IFFA has organised regional conferences in different continents. The most recent one was the Asia Pacific smallholder organisations conference in Bangkok, Thailand, 7-9 December 2016. In the preparations and during the conference, the questionnaire was used.

    Please fill in

We now post the questionnaire at our web site hoping for additional information from relevant sources we did not reach during the conference.

For more information, please contact Lok Sapkota or IFFA (see IFFA contact page)
