IFFA at RRI events

IFFA Participated in two RRI events in October. IFFA participated at the Rights and Resources conference “Reducing Unequally in a Turbulent World and RRI Global Scan.

    IFFA is an affiliated partner with RRI in Washington. IFFA participated at Right  Resources  conference “Reducing Inequality in a Turbulent World: Scaling-Up strategies to secure indigenous, community, and women’s land rights” held October 4th – 5th, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden.

    The two days seminar had very interesting discussions and panels on issues related to implementation of land tenure reforms, private sector investments and a special attention to the role of women.

    IFFA stressed the role of producer organisation for the power balance and protection of rights when land tenure reforms or private investments come into play. IFFA also used the opportunity to discuss with our G3 partner Bharati Pathak

    Following the conference RRI arranged an 2017 RRI GLOBAL SCAN on Oct 6, 2017. IFFA was represented by Lennart Ackzell.

    Design mechanism to support sustainable wood
