As part of the European Forest Week 9-13 October 2017, under the theme of "Forests, our common good” IFFA was invited to speak on a Side-Event arranged by Forest and Farm Facility and FAO.

  • The side-event reflected the usefulness and the differences by forest producer organisations at National, Reginal and Global level. IFFA represented the global level. To give voice of forest smallholders at global meetings such as UNFF, UNFCCC, FAO, CBD etc is evidently important to advocate land tenure, show case good examples, press for policy reforms etc.
