The International Family Forestry Alliance, representing more than 25 million forest owners all over the world, will strongly advice governmental and intergovernmental policy makers to utilise the possibilities sustainable forestry and sustainable forest products can offer in the combat against climate change.
Sustainable forestry securing raw material for bio energy and renewable forest products will reduce climate gas emissions by incorporating emissions in the forestry carbon cycle and replacing non-renewable energy and raw material sources. The larger we grow the carbon cycle the better for the climate.
